Refund Policy

Clear terms for cancellations and refunds

1. Deposit


The deposit paid to confirm a Booking is non-refundable. The deposit is used to secure the Booking with airlines, hotels, and other suppliers, and is deducted from the total price of the Booking.

2. Cancellation Refund Schedule


Where a Booking is cancelled by the Customer, the following schedule applies to amounts paid beyond the deposit:

Notice of cancellation is calculated from the date written notice is received by the Company.

3. Supplier-Imposed Charges


Where an airline, hotel, or other supplier applies a cancellation charge greater than the refund schedule in Clause 2, the supplier's charge applies. The Company refunds only the amount recovered from the relevant supplier, less the deposit and any charges already incurred under Clause 2.

4. Amendments


A request to amend a confirmed Booking (including date changes, passenger name changes, or changes to room configuration) is treated separately from a cancellation. Amendments are subject to supplier approval and availability, and may incur an administrative fee from the Company in addition to any charges imposed by the relevant supplier. The applicable fee is confirmed by the Company before the amendment is processed.

5. Cancellation by the Company


Where the Company cancels a confirmed Booking for reasons within its control, the Customer receives a full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit.

Where a Booking is affected by Force Majeure, as defined in the Terms & Conditions, refunds are limited to amounts recovered from the relevant suppliers, in accordance with Clause 9 of the Terms & Conditions.

6. How to Request a Refund


A refund request must be submitted in writing to hello@bumblebeetravel.co, stating the Booking reference and reason for cancellation. The Company confirms the applicable refund amount in writing before processing.

7. Processing Time


Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of written confirmation. Bank charges, payment gateway fees, or currency conversion costs incurred in processing the refund are deducted from the refund amount.
